Welcome to Diamond dental, my name is Dr. Amani Agour. I obtained my Bachelor’s Degree in Dental & Oral Surgery (BDS) from the University of Alexandria (Egypt) in 2003. To obtain my Canadian License, I Passed all four exams on my first attempt, in less than 2 years. I have been an associate in many offices in the Ottawa area since March 2017. In October 2018, I moved to Saskatoon to work as a clinical instructor at the University of Saskatoon. I was responsible for treating patients in the outpatient dental clinic, affiliated with the University of Saskatoon. I overlooked and evaluated the final year dental students at Saskatoon West Dental clinic. This has given me the opportunity to see what l would want in my own Clinic. During my 20 years of dentistry, I have gained a wide range of skills. I enjoy surgical procedures such as bone grafts, complicated extractions (wisdom teeth), and all root canals. Relieving patients from pain is very satisfying. All areas of restorative dentistry are rewarding, especially the cosmetic treatments, which involve crowns, and Invisalign orthodontics services. I am proud to say that l have recently received my certification for Oral sedation & Nitrous Oxide Gas (aka laughing gas). I enjoy the constant learning and keeping up to date with continuing education. I am an active member of The Ontario Dental Association, The Canadian Dental Association and The Ottawa Dental Society. I strive to be a great listener, your needs are my priority. I aim to give the best care possible, to provide respectful, compassionate and excellent dental treatment. I decided, during Covid, that this would be the perfect opportunity to build a State of Art Practice. A place that would offer a safe a comfortable environment where I can make a difference in my Community. I returned back to Blackburn Hamlet, as this was the community where we raised our three children. The project was completed, and our doors opened in August 2021. Our practice begins by treating all ages. Especially the young, teaching them dental health at an early age, working with children and their families making dentistry a positive experience. I aimed to make the best of all my experiences, build a practice with the best Team, where everyone is highly qualified, and bring them to my very own little place that l call Our Diamond so that we can offer a service like no other. In my spare time, l enjoy going out with my family and trying new food from different cultures. I enjoy spending time discovering new places with my dear husband Abe and our three wonderful children, Ahmed, Hana and Jana. Visiting Turkey is where we hope to visit next. I am looking forward to meeting you!

Hi everyone, My name is Abe, I am the operational manager at Diamond Dental clinic. I have been working in the health care system in Africa, Europe and Canada for 21 years   I obtained my medical degree in medicine and surgery In 2001 from Alexandria University in Egypt. After graduation from medical school, I finished my specialty training in Psychiatry and Hospitals and health care management in 2007 from Ain Shams University in Cairo in partnership with King’s and Guys universities in England I was practicing as a doctor in England then I moved back to Canada in 2021 to settle permanently with my family and to run our family business as a business partner with my wife Dr. Amani Agour. Since 2019 I had been working with Dr.Amani Agour so hard to build up a state of art dental clinic with top-of-the-line dental equipment. When I am not at work, I like to enjoy my time with my wife Dr.Amani Agour and my three children Ahmed, Jana and Hana who were raised in Blackburn Hamlet area. That’s why we made the choice to open a dental clinic in Blackburn and we have lots of memories in this beautiful neighbourhood.   I will be more than happy to greet you and give you a tour of our beautiful clinic.   We strive as a team to make your visit to Diamond Dental clinic a positive experience as we are changing the face of dentistry all over Ottawa.
